Haryana Power Utilities has released
notification for the recruitment of 165 Assistant Engineer (Electrical/ Civil)
vacancies in Haryana Power Utilities viz. HVPNL, HPGCL, UHBVNL & DHBVNL.
Eligible candidates who have scored in GATE-2017 conducted by IIT, Roorkee in
February 2017 may apply in prescribed format on or before 31-08-2017 upto 05:00
P.M (Extended to
07-09-2017). Other

i. Electrical discipline: 120 Posts (11 more Posts added)
ii. Mechanical discipline: 09 Posts

2. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 10 Posts
Age
Limit:
Candidates
age should be between 20-42 years as on 31-08-2017. Age relaxation is
applicable as per rules.
Educational
Qualification:
Candidates
should possess Full-Time Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Degree
from a University duly recognized by Central (EE) Government or a State
Government with a minimum 60% marks in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics
Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics/ Electronics &
Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electronics &
Electrical Communication Engineering/ Civil Engineering & must have passed
Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard.
Selection
Process:
Candidates
will be selected based on merit in GATE-2017 score.
Application
Fee:
Candidates
have to pay fee through Indian Postal Orders (IPOs) or Demand Draft in favor of
“AO/ Cash, HVPNL, Panchkula” payable at Panchkula. Fee details are:
i. Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for Male Candidates of General Category
including Dependent Son of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana, Male Candidates of all
reserved categories of other States.
ii. Candidates have to pay Rs. 125/- for Female Candidates of all (General and
Reserved) categories of all States/ Male candidates of SC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ EBP (G)/
ESM categories of Haryana only.
iii. No fee for all Persons with Disabilities (Candidates of Haryana only).
How
to Apply:
Eligible
candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with self
attested photocopy of all relevant certificates, demand draft through
Registered Post/ Speed Post or in person to the office of Deputy Secretary,
HR&SR (Recruitment Cell), HVPNL, Room No. 230, First Floor, Shakti Bhawan,
Sector-6, Panchkula on or before 31-08-2017 upto 05:00 P.M (Extended to 07-09-2017). Superscribe the envelope with the advertisement
number and the post applied for.
